Sustainability

"We acknowledge that owning a clothing label—comes with an environmental cost. Fashion, by its very nature, is not a sustainable industry. We're not here to greenwash or claim perfection. Instead, we’re committed to doing our best, being transparent, and continually finding ways to reduce our impact" - Nat, Founder.

From responsible sourcing and ethical manufacturing to thoughtful partnerships and certified materials, every decision we make is guided by a desire to tread more lightly on the planet—while recognising that it’s an ongoing journey, not a perfect destination.

Our current goal is for 70% of our products to be made using more responsible fibres, such as GOTS-certified organic cotton, OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, AZO-free reactive dyes, and BCI cotton.

A core value for us is using high-quality fabrics that are made to last. In some cases, this means certain materials we use may not be certified—often due to low quantities that don’t yet meet the minimums required for custom-certified production. But as we grow, our aim is to scale responsibly and transition these fabrics to certified alternatives whenever possible.

Yoga Fabric

Our Yoga Fabric is certified under globally recognised sustainability and safety standards, including GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard), OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Class 1, OCS (Organic Content Standard), and the GRS (Global Recycled Standard). These certifications ensure that our materials are responsibly sourced, ethically produced, and rigorously tested for both environmental and human safety. Our OEKO-TEX® Class 1 certification—the highest classification available—means our textiles meet strict criteria for products intended for babies and young children. This ensures our garments are completely free from harmful substances, including toxic dyes, heavy metals, and hormone-disrupting chemicals. It’s peace of mind for you and the most delicate skin.We also use AZO-free reactive dyes, which are free from carcinogenic compounds and heavy metals. These dyes offer excellent colour fastness while being safer for both the wearer and the environment. This means you can feel good not only about how our products look and feel, but also about how they're made—from fibre to finished garment.

Organic Cotton & Hemp

All of our T-shirts are made from GOTS organic cotton and is certified under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), the world’s leading standard for processing organic fibres. This certification ensures that the cotton is grown without the use of harmful pesticides, synthetic fertilisers, or genetically modified seeds, promoting both environmental sustainability and farmer welfare. Beyond farming practices, GOTS also covers the entire textile supply chain—including spinning, dyeing, and manufacturing—requiring strict environmental and social criteria at every stage. This includes safe working conditions, fair wages, wastewater treatment, and the prohibition of toxic chemicals. Choosing GOTS-certified organic cotton means supporting a cleaner, safer, and more ethical textile industry.

Recycled Seamless & Synergy: GRS (Global Recycled Standard)

The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is an international certification developed by Textile Exchange that verifies recycled content in products while ensuring environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing practices. It requires at least 20% recycled content, with 50% needed to use the GRS logo. GRS covers the entire supply chain—from traceability and sustainable resource use to fair labor and restricted chemical use. Certified facilities must pass third-party audits, giving brands and consumers confidence in the integrity, sustainability, and ethical sourcing of GRS-labelled products.

Synergy: PRUECO®

PRUECO® is an innovative recycled nylon developed by PRUTEX, designed to combine performance with sustainability. Made from post-consumer waste such as discarded fishing nets and landfill plastics, it is produced through a unique chemical-free process that uses only temperature and steam, powered entirely by renewable energy. PRUECO® delivers the same strength, softness, and durability as virgin nylon—making it an ideal material for activewear that doesn’t compromise on quality or comfort. Certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), this material supports circular fashion and helps reduce the environmental footprint of textile production. The GRS certification includes stringent checks not only for recycled content but also for chemical safety, including restricted substance lists (RSLs) that cover BPA and other harmful chemicals, ensuring they remain below accepted limits—often at or near zero for apparel. By choosing PRUECO®, we’re choosing to tread more lightly on the planet without compromising on quality or safety.
